CAMPBELL SCIENTIFIC LTD.
|
Campbell Scientific offers the
237 and 237F wetness
sensing grids. The sensor is designed to emulate the size and surface of a
leaf and works by measuring changes in the electrical resistance between the
interlacing gold-plated fingers on the circuit board. Capable of detecting
rainfall, dew or spray the sensor connects to any suitable
data logger. The 237F is a flexible sensor of similar design but which is designed for attaching to uneven surfaces or plant stems. |

Davis Instruments Corp. |
The Davis Wireless Leaf & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station is a special-purpose station for use with the Vantage Pro2 can measure the level of surface moisture on foliage. This add-on sensor station, which can house up to two leaf wetness sensors, is solar powered with a backup battery inside a weather-resistant shelter. Additional leaf wetness sensors can be purchased separately. The Vantage Pro2 measures a number of weather variables like temperature, humidity, rainfall, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction and more. |

Delta-T Devices Limited |
Delta-T devices can offer a Surface Wetness Sensor for the detection of dew or rain which comes complete with ground spike and 2m standard cable length. This forms part of an extensive list of equipment for environmental and meteorological monitoring. |

MEASUREMENTS LTD. United Kingdom |
Environmental
Measurements offer
three types of surface
wetness probes - the SW120R for rain detection, the SW120D
dew/condensation probe and the SW120F for frost detection. These are
essentially 'On/Off' devices which are switched when signal output
goes from 0V to 1V. See product information at: http://www.emltd.net/products |

KOMOLINE Electronics Pvt. Ltd. India |
Komoline offers leaf surface wetness sensors for agricultural
studies . Komoline manufactures a wide spectrum of digital sensors with a variety of connectivity options( including analog outputs) for application in meteorology, hydrology, oceanography and agricultural studies. www.komoline.com |
| LOGOTRONIC GmbH Austria |
Logotronic supplies a big variety of measuring stations. Small ones, stationary or mobile up to synoptic weather stations. The stations are highly scalable to the user requirements due to the modular system architecture. One measuring station for meteorology, hydrology, water quality and soil investigation. Nearly all common sensors can be connected via measuring interface modules. All stations can use telemetry modules for telephone, GSM, radio or Internet data transfer. |
