(MRR-2) is a vertical pointing Doppler Radar which derives
precipitation parameters in a profile over the system. The MRR-2
enables high quality measurements of precipitation free of influence
from wind, sea spray or surroundings. The Cloud radar MIRA 36 is a Doppler radar based on a magnetron transmitter which provides a pulse power of 30 kW with an excellent pulse shape for pulses as short as 100 ns.
