The RAPTOR™ Radar Wind Profiler line is a proven implementation of modern techniques that supports unattended operation delivering continuous measurement of profiles of vertical and horizontal winds and virtual temperature (RASS) for weather forecasting, aviation, space and military applications. Integration of a temperature, humidity, and liquid water profiling radiometer is optional. RAPTOR delivers high reliability with low acquisition and ownership costs. RAPTOR systems are available in frequencies satisfying country- and application-specific requirements. RAPTOR utilizes a unique, electronically steerable Yagi antenna array that, along with the transmitter, is scalable so that systems can be customized to meet each customer’s wind height specifications from near ground to 18+ km; see

The Windcube is a wind profiler which allows the user to get many wind components
The Windcube can be used for calibration of short term forecasting models with wind vertical profiles. It provides the flexibility of a mobile sensor and the performances of a 200m met mast with cup anemometers.

LEOSPHERE presents the EZ Cloud & Aerosol Lidar, a LIDAR dedicated to cloud and aerosol monitoring. This system is a vertical aerosol profiler.

The Troposheric Wind and Temperature Profiler is an unattended UHF clear-air Doppler radar and acoustic system that profiles the upper winds and atmospheric temperature.
The winds are measured every six minutes to an altitude of 16.25 kilometers, and the system automatically computes hourly averages of horizontal wind speed
and direction with an accuracy of 1 meter/second and 3 degrees, respectively.
Temperature profiles are typically measured once an hour to an instrumented altitude
of 5.75 kilometers with a resolution of 0.3C using the Radio Acoustic Sounding System (RASS) technique.  The technology has been proven in NOAA’s network of 35 tropospheric systems.  Wind Profiler

Product Details and Technical Specifications

The MP-3000A WeatherCam continuously monitors 3D temperature, humidity and liquid structures that define local weather. Temperature and humidity profile accuracy is equivalent to contemporaneous Radiosonde soundings, and up to an order of magnitude more accurate than Radiosonde soundings with 12 hour latency. Continuous forecast tools and indices based on these data provide accurate convection, fog and icing hazard alerts. Liquid profiles are key to improved precipitation forecasting and climate modeling.

Wind Profiler Radar “LQ Series”
Sumitomo Electric has developed a new model of L-band wind profiler radar system that employs a Luneburg lens at the antenna unit, in joint research with Kyoto University's Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere. The new "LQ Series" model has substantially lower price and improved characteristics and user-friendliness than previous models.
The main features of "LQ Series" are:
(1) Low price,
(2) Low running cost,
(3) Expandable system structure,
(4) Active phased array antenna,
(5) Pulse compression technique,
(6) Operation monitoring,
(7) Endurable design.
