a single primary design. WindTracer is a pulsed Doppler lidar
device that collects high-resolution wind data over a broad volumetric
area. Unlike traditional Doppler radar technology, WindTracer
continually detects dangerous wind hazards without relying on
precipitation and without side lobe interference. WindTracer has
been successfully used by airports, providing critical wind and wake
vortex data and enabling the air traffic control personnel to offer
precise, timely direction to pilots during takeoff and landing.
WindTracer Terminal Doppler Solution provides All Weather wind
hazard detection capability at airports with the addition of low cost
