14th Commission for Aeronautical Meteorology (CAeM-XIV), Hong Kong, 3-10 February 2010
This will be a 5.5 day meeting preceded by a 1.5 day Technical Conference. HMEI Members interested in attending as HMEI representatives at this meeting please contact the HMEI Secretariat at: hmei@wmo.int.

A small exhibition may be arranged as part of this event. If you are interested in exhibiting there please contact the HMEI Executive Secretary at: hmei@wmo.int.

15th Commission for Climatology (CCl-XV), Turkey 19-24 February 2010
WMO has invited HMEI representatives to attend the Commission for Climatology meeting at Antalya, Turkey from 19 to 24 February 2010. A copy of the invitation is available here. This document includes a link to the document site, where you can also see the agenda for this meeting.

The HMEI Executive Secretary has had preliminary discussions with the local organizer in Turkey regarding having a small exhibition with this meeting. It was agreed that this would be a good idea. It is suggested to have 5 or six booths as a small associated exhibition. Costs, etc. have not yet been finalized.

Please advise Bruce Sumner at hmei@wmo.int if you are interested in either attending the Commission meeting itself, or are interested in exhibiting during this event.

2nd GRUAN Implementation-Coordination Meeting (ICM-2), Payerne, Switzerland, 2-4 March 2010
This will be held at the MeteoSwiss GRUAN site in Payerne, Bruce Sumner the HMEI Executive Secretary has been directly invited and will attend to represent HMEI at the meeting.

The meeting affords an opportunity for the Working Group on Atmospheric Reference Observations (operating under the GCOS/WCRP Atmospheric Observation Panel for Climate), the GRUAN Lead Centre, initial GRUAN candidate site representatives and other stakeholders to review progress to date, highlight issues and exchange views. Meeting participants will instigate and agree an annual short-term GRUAN work plan within the framework of the GRUAN Implementation Plan 2009-2013 (see http://www.wmo.int/pages/prog/gcos/Publications/gcos-134.pdf).

WMO-BIPM workshop on Measurement Challenges for Global Observation Systems for Climate Change Monitoring: Traceability, Stability and Uncertainty, Geneva, Switzerland, 30 March - 1 April, 2010 
This will be a workshop jointly hosted by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM). Participation in the Workshop will be by invitation. The draft agenda for this workshop is available here.

Regional Association V (South-West Pacific) - 15th session (XV-RA V), Bali, Indonesia, 30 April-6 May 2010
HMEI is hoping to arrange a small exhibition area at this regional meeting. HMEI Members wishing to participate in the exhibition or attend the RAV as a HMEI representative please contact Bruce Sumner at hmei@wmo.int.

TECO-CIMO and CIMO XV, Helsinki, Finland, 31 August - 9 September 2010
The METEOREX 2010 will be held concurrently with these sessions.
