SIRWEC, Québec City Canada, 5-7 February 2010
The Standing International Road Weather Commission (SIRWEC) conference will also have an exhibition, with booths placed in Room 2000B of the Québec City Convention Centre where the conference will be held. The section reserved for poster sessions is also in this room.

Topics for the conference include: Forecasting Methods / RWIS; Winter Maintenance / Cost Benefit; Sensors and Equipment; Decision Support System; Intelligent Transportation System; Education / Cooperation; and Best Practices using road weather.

First Conference of Ministers Responsible for Meteorology in Africa, Nairobi, Kenya, 12-16 April 2010
WMO has approached HMEI to assist with arranging a small exhibition during the First Conference of Ministers Responsible for Meteorology in Africa.

This meeting is expected to attract most African ministers involved with meteorology. Over 40 countries are expected to attend, and the total number of participants is expected to be about 1500 people. The meeting will be held in the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi.

A brochure has been issued that provides details of this meeting see the brochure here, however note that the dates on the brochure are incorrect, the correct dates being 12-16 April, 2010.

ISARS 2010 Paris, France 28-30 June 2010
Whilst the International Society of Acoustic Remote Sensing of the Atmosphere and Oceans (ISARS) 2010 has no exhibition, this event invites presentations and poster submissions.
The symposium invites instrument users and manufacturers to hold presentations as one-hour field lectures, involving live demonstrations of individual instruments. Abstracts for submissions are due before 15 January 2010.

Topics for the conference are: Ground-based remote sensing measurement techniques and instruments; Inversion, retrieval, analysis methods and observation strategies; Process studies in the atmospheric boundary layer; Remote sensing data for modelling of boundary layer and surface processes; and Operational applications of boundary layer research.

5th International Conference on Fog, Fog Collection and Dew, Munster, Germany, 25-30 July 2010
Whilst there is no exhibition, this event invites presentations and poster submissions. Early-bird submission of abstracts is by 1 December 2009. Regular submission of abstracts is by 31 March 2010.

ERAD 2010 Meteorology and Hydrology Conference, Romania, September 2010
The 6th European Conference on Radar in Meteorology and Hydrology ERAD 2010 will be held in Sibu, Romania, 6-10 September 2010, hosted by the Romanian Meteorological Administration (ANM).

10th Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological Society (EMS) and the 8th European Conference on Applied Climatology (ECAC),   in Zürich, Switzerland, 13-17 September 2010

EMS & ECAC 2010 Conference theme: High resolution climatology – towards climate change services.
The underpinning theme of the ECAC is the development of climate change services; it will provide a platform for policy makers, practitioners and researchers. The programme will consist of three programme groups:
* Monitoring
* Understanding
* Services.

The EMS Annual Meeting programme will feature three streams, namely
* The Atmosphere and the Water Cycle
* Communication and Education
* Numerical Weather Prediction.
